But, the European Commission doesn’t do that since they thought the materials are not enough.
Besides, if there is an only one company SolarWorld proceeding, his capacity can’t occupy the 25% of the whole capacity of the EU. Threrfore, the proceeding is not legal.
After they have raised the proceeding, The Chinese PV Power inverter Union four leads of Yingli, Suntech, Trina and Artes have had a conference. The conference has attracted strong attention of the media.
Different with the former two conferences, the leader of four companies didn’t attend. The meeting was host by legal affairs director of Yingli Chen Zhuo. And the speak of Wang Yi was also tough. After the meeting, there was no time for interview. Chen Zhuo said any questions can be discussed in private. This shows that the present period is sensitive.
The other information passed is that the war is coming. In the meeting, the companies invoke the Chinese government to adopt necessary and decisive measures to protect the legal rights of the Chinese PV industry in the global market. From the view of the Chinese government, it is most possibly for the government to take corresponding retaliatory measures if the European Union made the wrong decision.
In 2011, 57% of the global panels are made in China. Taiwan is in the second place and occupied 11% share. While the biggest installation solar pv power market German, the panel production is only 7%. China has exported the PV products about 35.8 billion. The 60% about 20 billion goes to the European market. The figure is 4% of the Chinese and European total trade amount. However, the European export to China also covers the areas of equipment, cars, planes, luxury and so on.
